Americans are visitors in their own home vs. Mexico
Shortly after leaving Los Angeles International Airport, drivers headed northeast toward Pasadena’s Rose Bowl pass a billboard promoting a beer to the left. It features the soccer team that is, by far, the most popular in Southern California — Mexico.
On Saturday night, the championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean will be determined on American soil. But that soil will offer no advantage to the U.S. national team, whose fans will be drowned out by the loud, passionate majority filling a sold-out Rose Bowl for the CONCACAF Gold Cup final.

Mexico will have plenty of crowd support when they play the U.S. in Los Angeles
“I’m sure it’s going to be 90/10, 80/20 Mexican fans,” U.S. captain and Inland Empire, Calif., native Carlos Bocanegra told Sporting News on Friday. “But it makes for a fantastic atmosphere. … The fans and everything, it’s going to be bumping in here. It’s going to be fun.”
Turn off the illegal-alien jobs magnet by Tom Tancredo
Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas, has introduced a bill immigration-enforcement patriots have been demanding for over a decade, the Legal Workforce Act. Why are some people calling it a bad bargain, or even worse, a sellout?
Smith’s bill, H.R. 2164, mandates the use of the federal E-Verify program by all employers across the nation. The bill is not perfect, but on balance, it’s a giant step forward and deserves our support.
Not only is a federal E-Verify mandate a giant leap forward in itself, but the Smith bill greatly improves the E-verify program by requiring cooperation among all federal agencies to eliminate a gaping loophole. The present E-Verify program detects only fake Social Security numbers, not valid numbers being used by multiple persons. The existing law actually encourages identity theft. H.R. 2164 fixes that problem.
Former Rwandan female Minister of state jailed for inciting genocide, rape

auline Nyiramasuhuko - jailed for life
A former Rwandan women’s minister has been sentenced to life in prison for her role in the genocide and the rape of Tutsi women and girls.
Pauline Nyiramasuhuko, 65, is the first woman to be convicted of genocide by an international court.
She was found guilty, along with her son and four other former officials, after a 10-year trial.
Some 800,000 ethnic Tutsis and moderate Hutus were killed during the 1994 massacres.
Nyiramasuhuko, who was family affairs and women’s development minister, was accused of ordering and assisting in the massacres in her home district of Butare in southern Rwanda.

“I Sure As Hell Did!”
In the 1940s, Duke was one of the few stars with the courage to expose the determined bid by a band of communists to take control of the film industry. Through a series of violent strikes and systematic blacklisting, these people were at times dangerously close to reaching their goal. With theatrical employee’s union leader Brewer, playwright Morrie and others, he formed the Motion Picture Alliance for the Preservation of American Ideals to challenge this insidious campaign. Subsequent Congressional investigations in I947 clearly proved both the communist plot and the importance of what Duke and his friends did.
In that period, during my first term as president of the Actors’ Guild, I was confronted with an attempt by many of these same leftists to assume leadership of the union. At a mass meeting I watched rather helplessly as they filibustered, waiting for our majority to leave so they could gain control. Somewhere in the crowd I heard a call for adjournment, and I seized on this as a means to end the attempted takeover. But the other side demanded I identify the one who moved for adjournment.
Families Of Students Beaten, Killed In Racists Attacks Awarded $725K From School

A California school district is paying out $725,000 to the families of 12 Black students who sued the school alleging that the district did not protect them from racial harassment.
One racist incident allegedly lead to the shooting death of a 14-year-old student.
In the suit the group contends that the New Haven Unified School District turned their back, while the mostly Latino Decoto gang regularly entered school grounds and attacked Black students.
Vernon Eddins was shot to death outside of Barnard-White Middle School in December 2007, by what police described as young Latino men but charges have yet to be brought up in Eddins’ death.
‘The flag of Islam will be over Downing Street, and Queen Elizabeth will wear the burqa,’ says Muslim preacher (Video)

A Muslim preacher in London has warned that the British prime minister will soon be paying a jizya tax to Muslims, the flag of Islam will be flying over Downing Street and that Queen Elizabeth will wear the burqa or niqab.
This latest example to surface of these all too commonplace threats by radical Muslims shows once again the true face of Islam and its followers, the face that the political establishment pretends does not exist.
In the tirade, Abu Waleed also boasted that 35,000 Americans had converted to Islam within six months of the September 11 terrorist attacks and gloated that Islam has conquered many countries by the sword.
Unfortunately for the people of our country, his threats of a Britain under dictatorial Islamic rule will soon come true unless the people of Britain do something about it.
Downtown assaults spur Denver police warning

A spate of late-night assaults and robberies near downtown has Denver police asking the community to be cautious and on the lookout.
Seven of the eight attacks in the past 10 weeks happened near the intersection of Lawrence Street and Park Avenue West in the evening or early morning. One attack took place 17th and Champa streets.
A majority of the targets were transients or were intoxicated when they were attacked, according to Denver Police Department spokesman Sonny Jackson.
“We’re trying to look out for our transient population,” Jackson said. “A lot of times people don’t call for help quickly. Make the phone call. You don’t have to get involved, just call the authorities.”
Police are trying to determine whether one person might be involved in multiple assaults and are checking for surveillance video from cameras in the area.
The victims were robbed of small items like cell phones or calling cards.
Babies Born to Ethnic Minorities Outnumber Number of White Toddlers for First Time in U.S. History

Ethnic minorities now make up the majority of babies in the United States, official figures revealed today.
It is the first time that this has been the case and the change reflects a growing age divide between mostly white, older Americans and predominantly minority youths that could reshape government policies.
Preliminary census estimates also show the share of African-American households headed by women—made up of mostly single mothers—now exceeds African-American households with married couples, a sign of declining U.S. marriages overall but also continuing challenges for black youths without involved fathers.
The findings, based on the latest government data, offer a preview of final 2010 census results being released this summer that provide detailed breakdowns by age, race and householder relationships such as same-sex couples.
Demographers say the numbers provide the clearest confirmation yet of a changing social order, one in which racial and ethnic minorities will become the U.S. majority by the middle of the century.
‘Three Muslim Males…Gun Down Everybody’: Seattle Plotters Imagined Own Media Headlines (Video)

Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif
Two ex-convicts planned an attack on a Seattle military recruiting station hoping that it would get attention from the media, authorities say, and even imagined the headlines: “Three Muslim Males Walk Into MEPS Building, Seattle, Washington, And Gun Down Everybody.”
Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, also known as Joseph Anthony Davis, 33, of Seattle, was arrested Wednesday when he and another man showed up at a warehouse garage to pick up machine guns they planned to use in the attack, authorities said Thursday. The weapons had been rendered inoperable by federal agents and posed no risk to the public.
Authorities learned of the plot this month when a third person recruited to participate alerted Seattle police, according to court documents. Agents then set up the sting through the confidential informant, who had known Abdul-Latif for years.
Abdul-Latif had little knowledge of weapons, but served briefly in the Navy in the mid-1990s and was familiar with recruiting stations like the one they targeted, a criminal complaint said. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle said he and his alleged accomplice, Walli Mujahidh, planned to attack Joint Base Lewis-McChord but later changed targets.
