DALLAS - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and its law enforcement partners arrested 284 foreign nationals with criminal records during a three-day enforcement surge throughout Texas, making it the biggest operation targeting at-large criminal aliens ever carried out by ICE in the state.

During the operation, which concluded late Thursday, ICE officers and agents worked in teams with the U.S. Marshals Service, Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service and local law enforcement agencies. Of the 284 arrested, nearly 160 foreign nationals have violent criminal histories - such as homicide, assault and robbery - and more than 20 have convictions for sexual offenses. Of the total arrested, 18 have already been removed from the country.

At a news conference Friday morning, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for ICE John Morton announced the results of the special operation, which involved more than 280 federal and local law enforcement officers and agents. Assistant Secretary Morton cited the operation as another example of the vital role multi-agency cooperation and targeted immigration enforcement play in protecting our communities.

“We are a compassionate nation with a proud history of immigration,” said Morton. “But we are also a nation governed by laws specifically designed to protect its citizens and residents. Those who come to the United States to prey upon our neighbors and communities will be prosecuted for their crimes and ultimately returned to their home countries. The results of this week’s operation demonstrate ICE’s commitment to that principle.”

Arrests in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area accounted for the largest number of apprehensions during the operation where a total of 119 criminal aliens were taken into custody. San Antonio recorded the next highest number of arrests with 73. The arrestees, 259 men and 25 women, represent more than 22 different nations, including countries in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Because of their serious criminal histories and prior immigration arrest records, at least 23 of those arrested during the enforcement surge face federal prosecution for illegally reentering the country after being formally deported. A conviction for felony reentry carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison.

We are living under in a tyranny and those with power and treat White Britons as something potentially dangerous and therefore in need of oppression, even dispossession. The attack on working class people for example is cultural as they financially propped up by welfare benefits; their mental needs with laid on entertainments – but there is a constant message that they are no good. The important thing is to learn who they are and where they belong and to value themselves. This is what has been called The Culture wars. It is the destruction of our traditional society for a plan of a global utopia. Its promoters see it as progress, liberation from past prejudices and restraints.

The fact is, this nation is being changed. It is becoming more Asian, West Indian, African etc. If the self-declared ‘libertarians’ and democracy lovers really think this country will be a pleasant place to live under these circumstances they are seriously deluded. All the evidence is there: inter-ethnic violence, voting fraud and commitment to political parties that look after their ethnic interests.

The selfish middle classes who adopted a morally superior attitude when the working classes were being pushed out now find their own children beginning to lose. Former Conservative MP George Walden wrote of how we are being replaced in “Immigration is Fine For the Rich”(Times of 5th November 2006):” We hadn’t got far in a Today programme discussion of my new book “Time to Emigrate?” … Slurs about racism I expected. Instead I was accused of favouring eugenics, a more original interpretation of my thesis, for which there is no evidence in the book… hinting that you are a neo-Nazi for raising the issue of excessive immigration is pushing it.

The previous day the Office for National Statistics (ONS) had announced some startling new figures: Britain was taking in 1,500 immigrants a day, while 1,000 Brits left. Which rather confirmed the central premise of my book: that more people were moving out as well as in, and that a growing number of emigrants — by no means necessarily racists — were quitting because of the numbers coming in.”

Whitehall has had to release papers revealing that labour implemented a secret plan to relax border controls to change Britain. A memo written for Blair in 2000, shows that the Government’s strategy was to “open up migration” so they could achieve “social objectives.” Ministers kept this hidden from the public.

Youths flaunt guns on the streets of Rio de Janeiro

A boy steps boldly into the night traffic and waves a gun to bring the cars to a halt, clearing a path for a motorcycle which screeches into the intersection. Riding pillion is another boy, brandishing a machinegun.

Later two teenagers, also riding pillion on motorbikes, flash their guns at other motorists; nearby, a boy can be seen taking aim with a rifle equipped with a telescopic sight. Other youths wander the street smoking crack.

For residents, the junction between the busy Dom Helder Câmara and dos Democráticos, in North Rio de Janeiro, has become known as the Corner of Fear — and video footage of daily life there has shocked a nation already familiar with guns and violence.

Fury at ‘ghettoisation’ as Rio slums are to be sealed off by 10ft walls

Walls are going up around the hillside slums of Rio de Janeiro, further dividing a city already separated between rich and poor.

Beneath the gaze of the statue of Christ the Redeemer, work is nearing completion on one of 19 walls to be built around the city’s sprawling favelas — the informal and often crime-ridden shantytowns that are home to more than a million people.

Critics say that the concrete barriers, up to 3m high, will seal the favelas as ghettos, segregating the inhabitants by sealing them off from the richer areas.

“We had the Berlin Wall, we have the walls of Palestine, now the walls of Rio,” José Saramago, the author and Nobel laureate, said.

Sérgio Cabral, the Governor of Rio, has plans to surround 13 favelas in the south almost completely in a project that he says is designed to stop their sprawl destroying the last of the city’s forested peaks. In a city riven by violence, mistrust and social inequality, few believe him.

“The Government does not have access to the favelas, so they are going to encircle them,” says Rossino de Castro Diniz, the president of the Association of Rio Favelas.

Link: A Resource For Information on the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC)

The Southern Poverty Law Center has long outlived its usefulness. What was once a noble organization dedicated to protecting civil rights has now become nothing more than a far-left echo chamber.

For example, during a recent appearance on MSNBC, the SPLC’s Mark Potok implied that Joseph Stack, the perpetrator of the suicide attack on the IRS building in Austin, may have been linked to the “radical right.” What absolute nonsense.

Even an analyst from an organization without the SPLC’s $150 million endowment could figure out that someone who quotes Lenin, hates George Bush, is anti-capitalist and pro-socialized medicine is probably not a right-winger.

Potok mentioned that the SPLC didn’t have a file on Stack. I wonder why? Probably for the same reason they don’t have a file on Amy Bishop, the University of Alabama in Huntsville professor charged with murdering three of her co-workers. As an avowed leftist who was obsessed with Obama, she just didn’t fit their profile of what a violent wacko should be (i.e. a conservative good ol’ boy Republican).

In fact, the SPLC has yet to even comment on the Huntsville massacre, despite the fact that all of the victims were minorities. Amy Bishop killed or wounded every minority member of the UAH biology department faculty. And yet the SPLC, an organization ostensibly dedicated to protecting minority rights, doesn’t give this violent racial incident one mention on its Web site.

A crowd of more than 200 people swarmed the streets of Southside early Friday morning in a riot involving seven law enforcement agencies, runaway dumpsters, flaming trash cans, shattered windows and violent clashes between rioters and police.

What began as a dance party on Upper Sproul Plaza led to an occupation of Durant Hall at around 11:15 p.m. Thursday to raise support for the March 4 statewide protest in support of public education.

According to a statement distributed by the occupiers, the building was selected because of its symbolic nature. Durant Hall formerly housed the campus East Asian Library and the campus Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures. It is now being renovated to become office space for the College of Letters and Science, which spurred activists to “reclaim” the space for students.

UCPD Captain Margo Bennett said the occupiers “cut a lock to get into the construction area and then cut a lock to get into the building” before vandalizing the area.

“There were windows broken, there was spray painting and graffiti on the interior, there was construction equipment that was tossed around,” she said.

Nick Griffin, the leader of the far right British National Party, has found a country where it is even tougher to get heard than in his own – the U.S.

Griffin had lined up three venues to speak at this month in a visit to the U.S. But all three were canceled, leaving Griffin with a familiar feeling.

In July, the far right BNP, which advocates repatriation of all “non-indigenous” races from Britain, capitalized on a low turnout to win two seats in the European Parliament in Brussels, including one for Griffin, whose appearances are often accompanied by loud protesters. In October, for example, the police had to take control of a near riot outside a British Broadcasting Corp. studio as Griffin took his seat at a political talk show – his first appearance on a primetime BBC show.

In the U.S., Griffin was set to speak at a conference hosted by American Renaissance, an online magazine for “race-realist information and perspectives,” outside of Washington. The conference was canceled when protesters made life miserable for hotels that had agreed to take American Renaissance’s bookings, according to Jared Taylor, who helps run the magazine.

For Taylor, his British contact’s difficulties in finding a U.S. podium are about freedom of speech. “This is not the kind of thing you would expect from the home of the brave and the land of the free,” he said.

The immigration minister has admitted that his own children have ’suffered’ because of the number of foreigners who have flooded into Britain.

In an extraordinary declaration, gaffe-prone Phil Woolas accepted the influx of migrants under Labour has taken a toll on local communities and services.

Confronted by an unemployed man on a BBC2 Newsnight special, he said: ‘We recognise that. My own family… children have suffered from that.’

Mr Woolas, who has two sons, has a house in Chiswick, south west London, and Oldham, Lancashire, which is his constituency.

It was not clear whether the minister was talking about class sizes or the pressure placed by migrants on school places or some other issue.

Shadow home secretary Chris Grayling said: ‘The biggest impact from immigration in recent years has been on public services.

‘It seems extraordinary to have the immigration minister now admitting that – and from his own experience – but yet still defending the policy that caused the problems in the first place.’

Oceans of ink, terabytes of blog space and an eternity of television time have been devoted to the latest object of media fascination, the “tea party” movement. Now (finally!), a poll conducted by CNN gives us some hard data on the Tea Party Nation.

Neither “average Americans,” as they like to portray themselves, nor trailer-park “Deliverance” throwbacks, as their lefty detractors would have us believe, tea partyers are more highly educated and wealthier than the rest of America. Nearly 75% are college educated, and two-thirds earn more than $50,000.

More likely to be white and male than the general population, tea partyers also skew toward middle age or older. That’s the tell. Most came of age in the 1960s, an era distinguished by widespread disrespect for government. In their wonder years, they learned that politics was about protesting the Establishment and shouting down the Man. No wonder they’re doing that now.

Look closely at the tea partyer and what you see is a famil- iar American genus: a solidly middle-class, college-educated boomer, endowed by his creator with possessions, opinions and certain inalienable rights, the most important of which is the right to make sure you hear what he has to say.

The tea party is a harbinger of midlife crisis, not political crisis. For men of a certain age, it offers a counterculture experience familiar from adolescence — underground radio, esoteric tracts, consciousness-raising teach-ins and rallies replete with extroverted behavior to shock the squares — all paid for with ample cash.

The partyers are essentially replaying the ’60s protest paradigm. (We’re aging boomers ourselves, so we know it when we see it.) They fancy themselves the vanguard of a revolution, when in fact they are typical self-absorbed, privileged children used to having their way — now — and uninhibited about complaining loudly when they don’t. It’s the same demographic Spiro Agnew called “an effete corps of impudent snobs who characterize themselves as intellectuals.”

John White

John White was a young white man who had served in Iraq, and was working on a second master’s degree at Kent State University, in small town Kent, Ohio. Unfortunately, Kent isn’t far from Akron, or as many folks call it, Crackron, and Akron blacks like to drive over to Kent and beat white college students for fun. In January, John White’s number came up. He was savagely beaten on January 23rd, and finally died from his injuries a few days ago. John White is the second white KSU student beaten to death by Akron blacks in the past few months. Two Crackron thugs beat Christopher Kernich to death back in November.

And if you want an eye opening revelation, do a search on Google to see how KSU is responding to this crisis of black on white violence. In the last three months, four KSU students have been attacked by blacks, and two of them have died from their beatings. But you’d never have a clue that there’s any problem by the lack of the university’s response. Good luck finding anything. Compare that with the university in San Diego that went into full fledged crisis mode last week after a few white students held a ghetto themed party, which was all over the national news. The administration issued several press releases denouncing the kids, held emergency meetings with black students, and caved in to one demand after another from the blacks on campus wailing about how they don’t feel safe on campus. They even promised the blacks that private parties that they don’t approve of will no longer be tolerated. But four white students attacked in three months by blacks, and two of them dying, and the university and media are completely silent.
