Changing Reality

The Neo-Marxists are trying to change our perception of reality like the Soviet Union did to its subjects. The Soviets made a distinction between “Pravda,” the truth which is ideologically correct, and “Istina,” the objective truth. The multiracial ideologues view “Istina” as heresy and try to impose ideological truth on people who generally understand reality by common sense, experience and tradition from their parents and community.

-black-and-white-spiralBy David Morris – Two surprising articles about race and the First World recently appeared in the world’s media: the first in Britain and the other in Russia. Both revealed startling truths which are worth considering in detail.

In Britain, Rod Liddle wrote the wrong thing on his Spectator blog about two black youths who conspired to push a pregnant woman into a canal as part of a failed murder plot: “The overwhelming majority of street crime, knife crime, gun crime, robbery and crimes of sexual violence in London is carried out by young men from the African-Caribbean community. In return for all this crime, the black community has given Britain ‘rap music, goat curry and a far more vibrant and diverse understanding of cultures which were once alien to us’. For which, many thanks.”

The Thought Police immediately stepped in to suppress this way of thinking. The Thought Police have been described as an “ideological caste” because they are an elite who hold power and grant patronage to people who say the right things and destroy those who transgress. (Where is Ron Atkinson the former manager and TV football pundit?) To get into power say the right things; to stay in power, say the right things.

In response to Mr Liddle’s comments, Diane Abbott, MP for Hackney, retreated into history to try to denigrate his accurate comments by comparing him to fascist leader Oswald Mosley.

Yet on her blog, Ms Abbott once admitted: “Sadly 80 percent of gun crime in London is ‘black-on-black,’ often involving boys in their teens. As a black woman and the mother of a teenage son, this is frightening and wholly unacceptable.”

So frightening and unacceptable that Ms Abbot sent her children to a fee-paying school rather than to a local state secondary. In her own words, “too many black boys were unsuccessful within inner-city state schools.”

Ministry of Justice figures for 2007/2008 claim that only 2.2 percent of Britons aged ten or above are black, yet 14 percent of criminal cases tried in a crown court involve black suspects. For some crimes, the figures are even more alarming. One controversial report conducted by Scotland Yard last year found that more than half of teen knife crime offences in the capital involve black suspects.

Two years ago the Commons home affairs committee warned of a “serious crisis” among Britain’s young black community.

The public are given a false view of reality so that they cannot make a mature decision on the important topics of the day. Democracy is only possible when adults make mature decisions based on the facts.

Yet the Western media deny the public the facts and thereby have corrupted the political process. How many Europeans have ever heard of the Knoxville murders when a gang of blacks brutally murdered an innocent white couple? The case contained horrific details and if the races of the perpetrators and victims had been reversed, the whole world would know about it.

knoxvilleIn that case, Hugh Christopher Newsom, Jr., 23, and Channon Gail Christian, 21, were both raped and murdered after being kidnapped early on the morning of January 7, 2007. Five blacks were arrested and a grand jury indicted four on counts of murder, robbery, kidnapping, rape and theft.

Three of those arrested, Letalvis D. Cobbins, Lemaricus Davidson and George Thomas, have been convicted on multiple charges including several counts of felony murder. Another has been convicted of federal charges as accessory after the fact to carjacking.

According to the testimony of the Knox County Acting Medical Examiner Dr Darinka Mileusnic-Polchan at the subsequent trial of Eric Boyd, Newsom was repeatedly raped with an object and then blindfolded, gagged, arms and feet bound and his head covered. Barefoot, he was either led or dragged outside the house to a set of nearby railroad tracks. He was shot in the back of the head, the neck, and the back, and his body then set on fire.

Christian’s death came only after hours of sexual torture, medical examiner Mileusnic-Polchan testified. Christian suffered horrific injuries to her vagina, anus and mouth. She was not only raped but savaged with “an object,” possibly a broken chair leg, the doctor testified. She was beaten in the head. Some type of chemical was poured down her throat, and her body, including her bleeding and battered genital area, likely scrubbed with the same solution – all while Christian was alive, the forensic expert said. She was then “hog-tied,” with curtains and strips of bedding, her face covered tightly with a small trash bag and her body stashed inside five large trash bags before being placed inside a large trash can and covered with sheets. Christian died slowly, suffocating, the medical examiner said.

Cyber-security chief resigns in protest

Calls consolidation of power in National Security Agency 'bad strategy'

Rod A. Beckstrom has resigned director of the National Cyber Security Center in the Department of Homeland Security.

The official in charge of coordinating the U.S. government’s cyber-security operations has quit, saying the expanding control of the National Security Agency over the nation’s computer security efforts poses “threats to our democratic processes.”

“Even from a security standpoint, it is unwise to hand over the security of all government networks to a single organization,” said Rod A. Beckstrom, the head of the Department of Homeland Security’s National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) when speaking to United Press International.

“If our Founding Fathers were taking part in this debate [about the future organization of the government's cyber-security activities], there is no doubt in my mind they would support a separation of security powers among different [government] organizations, in line with their commitment to checks and balances,” he said.

In a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano last week, Mr. Beckstrom said the NSA “dominates most national cyber efforts” and “effectively controls DHS cyber efforts through detailees, technology insertions and the proposed move” of the NCSC to an NSA facility at the agency’s Fort Meade, Md., headquarters.

“I believe this is a bad strategy on multiple grounds,” Mr. Beckstrom wrote in the letter, a copy of which was obtained by UPI. “The intelligence culture is very different than a network operations or security culture. In addition, threats to our democratic processes are significant if all top-level government network security and monitoring are handled by any one organization.”

Video: The Scam of Social Conservatism

Congressman Henry Brown's "Stand Up for Christmas" resolution is just another example of Republican politicians' long history of exploiting social and cultural issues to distract voters from their big government records.

Satan on the Rampage in Africa

The UN Report calls on the regional government to make resources available to combat this scourge and to bring those responsible to the International Penal Court, which has issued arrest warrants for 33 counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes against LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) Commander-in-Chief, Joseph Kony, and other senior officers.

Since the Christmas Massacre of 2008, the Lord’s Resistance Army has caused hundreds of thousands of victims in four African States. Its leader, Joseph Kony, has escaped capture since the 1980s when his movement launched its rampage of murder, rape, torture and abduction which has devastated an entire region.

Mutilations, torture, rapes, abductions. People slashed with machetes, disembowelled. Girls forced into sexual slavery. Babies having their legs chopped off. Women’s breasts sliced from them before or after they are gang-raped and left to die. This is the reality in a vast area covering Uganda, Southern Sudan, Central African Republic and the Northern DR Congo, where last Christmas Day 477 civilians were hacked to pieces and thousands were abducted, the boys (as young as five) forced to be child soldiers and the girls forced to become sexual slaves.

Since then, the UNO has revealed, the Lord’s Resistance Army has slaughtered around 1,300 civilians, including women and children, abducted a further 1,400 and caused 300,000 persons to flee their homes. The joint reports by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Mission in the DRC and the UN Mission in Sudan speak of “constant, deliberate and egregious brutality”, throughout sustained and horrific attacks in which the weapons favoured are knives, swords, machetes and hoes.

Eye-witness accounts reported include attacks against babies: “The LRA attackers targeted civilians, killing many and causing serious injury without regard for sex, age or ethnicity. Even babies were killed”. Entire villages have been destroyed, wreacking humanitarian and economic havoc in the region: 230,000 Displaced persons in DR Congo, 38,000 DPs in Southern Sudan and 17,000 in the Central African Republic in less than one year.

Leftist indoctrination of future teachers averted

Would being unable to become a teacher because you didn't share the radical cultural politics of the University of Minnesota's education department qualify as unjust oppression?

Thank heaven for FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights in Education), whose activism appears to have forced the publicly funded University of Minnesota to abandon a berserk plan to force students who want to be teachers to accept indoctrination in far-left cultural politics as a condition of their teacher training. From FIRE’s blog:

The proposal, initiated by the college’s Race, Culture, Class, and Gender Task Group, sought to require each future teacher to accept theories of “white privilege, hegemonic masculinity, heteronormativity, and internalized oppression”; “develop a positive sense of racial/cultural identity”; and “recognize that schools are socially constructed systems that are susceptible to racism … but are also critical sites for social and cultural transformation.” They were to be judged by their scores on the Intercultural Development Inventory, a test of “Intercultural Sensitivity.” In one assignment, they were to reveal a “pervasive stereotype” they personally held and then demonstrate how their experiences had “challenged” it. They also were to be assessed regarding “the extent to which they find intrinsic satisfaction” in being in “culturally diverse situations.”

I encourage you to go to the FIRE blog entry, which is full of links to the actual U of Minn documents. Beneath all that bureaucratic gobbledygook are some spectacularly awful culturally Marxist ideas. What is wrong with these people? Why does learning to be sensitive of diverse backgrounds in one’s classroom require accepting this kind of claptrap? In a public university, no less, one that turns out the future educators of Minnesota children and young adults. Incredible. See, we were talking earlier about persecution, and how it doesn’t happen to Christians. I wouldn’t call this persecution, exactly, nor would this policy, had it gone through, have targeted Christians, necessarily. But you can see how a policy like this would have the effect of denying employment to people who wanted to be teachers, and who were prepared to do the kind of work necessary to learn how to be a teacher — but who didn’t accept the ridiculous cultural politics that the educrats wanted to impose on aspiring teachers guilty of thoughtcrime. Is that persecution? No. Would being unable to become a teacher because you didn’t share the radical cultural politics of the University of Minnesota’s education department qualify as unjust oppression? That’s a far easier case to make. Good on FIRE for calling these tenured radical troglodytes out.

Diversity by another name

Ottawa is wondering: Does 'pluralism' better describe Canada than `multiculturalism'?

OTTAWA–Jason Kenney is the federal minister in charge of Canada’s multiculturalism. But for the last couple of years, he’s been wondering whether “pluralism” might be a better word to describe this country’s cultural diversity.

And so have government officials, according to documents obtained by the Star.

“What if the picture we have of ourselves shifted Canada as a multicultural society to Canada as a pluralistic society?” is the question posed in a series of slides prepared for a September 2008 discussion within government.

“Would the discourse change? Would it change the way we design policy and programs? Would the notion of Canadian identity change?”

In Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Canada, where blue is the new red, and much attention is paid to symbols and logos, word choice is significant. And with Kenney’s recent rollout of a new citizenship study guide, it is also obvious that the Conservative government has been doing some serious thinking about how to update and describe the Canadian national identity.

Multiculturalism, according to Kenney and the departmental documents, may have had the result of keeping various cultures separate in Canada, while “pluralism” is focused on getting different cultures to work together.

“I started using the term a little bit, firstly because I was looking for a terminology that went beyond parallel cultural silos,” Kenney says. “I think that’s one understanding of multiculturalism – that we set up a bunch of cultural silos that don’t communicate between one another. My emphasis has been on a more integrated multiculturalism, building bridges between communities and ensuring full equality of opportunity for new Canadians in mainstream society.”

Does black British ’supergrass’ case represent a failure?

The second of two murder trials involving Britain's first black "supergrass" ended recently at the Old Bailey. But should it be seen as a breakthrough or a failure?

Over £100m has been spent regenerating the Stonebridge estate

As he was led away in handcuffs having given evidence at the Old Bailey, Darren Mathurin had the look of someone who knew he would forever be glancing over his shoulder.

Mathurin, a 29-year-old drug dealer with the street name Spider from the Stonebridge estate in Harlesden, north-west London, testified at two trials.

The most recent ended this week with the acquittal of a man, Romain Whyte, accused of conspiracy to murder Jahmall Moore in January 2005.

Another man was convicted - based largely on the evidence of another witness who picked him out in an identity parade.

Supergrasses - beginning with Bertie Smalls in 1974 - have always negotiated deals while in custody awaiting trial.

What makes Mathurin’s case unusual - aside from his ethnicity - is that his deal came after he had been convicted, in December last year, of murdering Jahmall Moore and been jailed for life with a minimum tariff of 22 years.

Caucus takes aim at MTV’s ‘Guidos’

"Jersey Shore" has been a target of Italian-American groups since before it even aired, mostly due to the liberal use of the term "Guido" by castmates and by MTV promoters.

“Jersey Shore” cast member Pauly Delvecchio of Rhode Island and his out-of-state ilk has ignited the wrath of New Jersey state legislators.

The MTV reality show “Jersey Shore,” which follows the exploits of self-proclaimed “Guidos” as they drink, mate and tan their way through a Seaside Heights summer, violates the spirit of the New Jersey’s hate crime laws, according to the New Jersey Italian American Legislative Caucus.

In addition, Sen. Joseph Vitale (D-Middlesex) said the state Department of Labor and Workforce Development has, at his request, opened an investigation into employment and wage practices on the show. He also wants the department to look into the tax status of the Shore Store, at which castmates have been shown working. A spokesman for the labor department could not confirm the investigation late yesterday.

“The bias-related acts displayed by employees of MTV Networks in the production and marketing of “Jersey Shore,’ by their nature, are confrontational, inflame tensions and promote social hostility,” wrote Vitale, the caucus chairman.

“These acts are contrary to the spirit of New Jersey law and jeopardize the active and open pursuit of freedom and opportunity.”

Vitale, along with Richard Bilotti, the chairman of the New Jersey Italian and Italian American Heritage Commission, posted the letter to MTV parent company Viacom and its advertisers. It asks Viacom to immediately cancel the show, currently riding a wave of popularity rivaling its “Hills” franchise.
