  • Thanks to Uncle Pat! Now that all the GOP’s cards have been played (face up), those of us who laid down our bets years ago that 20th Century Dixiecrats would morph into 21st Century Republicants can collect our winnings and leave the table!

  • It goes against white females too Pat.
You got a white woman with 2 kids who truly needs help.
You got a black woman with 2 kids who needs help
Bring in an illegal……..guess who gets the help first.

  • The United States of America has NO use for a “wise Latina” on the Supreme Court. This country requires a wise American for that high office. Whether that person is of Hispanic heritage or not is of NO importance.

Sotomayor is a representative of “La Raza,” who identifies herself as an “affirmative action baby,” NOT as an American.

In answer to Victor/Victoria: The American people are NOT happy with a “Latino” communist on the high court.

A real American always “dates himself” in obeisance to the Founding Fathers, who built this country for themselves and their posterity, NOT La Raza, not La Reconquista, and not a communist takeover by black-robed tyrants!

Buchanan has correctly identified the Supreme Court as the battleground in the culture war, which threatens the future existence of this republic.

The usurper, illegal alien “president” who appointed her, will soon be dealt with, by a deliberate and revolutionary people.

This interview was a classic exchange of a great man, casting his pearls before swine posing as a real journalist.

  • “Pat, you’re dating yourself” [but I'm thoroughly modern].

Got a lot of testosterone for a “woman,” doesn’t she?

I’d go quite a but further than Buchanan: I don’t think women or non-Whites should be on the Supreme Court. And I don’t consider Jews to be White. Its about racial character– standards and values, something Buchanan remains afraid to touch. He would have been ridiculed by this woman, who has Buchanan squinting in the bright lights and controls the volume control. I admire Buchanan for being willing to go into the lions den regularly to make his case but think there is an even stronger case to be made.

Discrimination has become a politically incorrect behavior which makes no sense. If one does not learn from experience and act based upon, say, what happens when you touch a hot stove, one is simply less than sane– being willing to invest lifetime Supreme Court postiions who Sotomayor admits make public policy– and expecting other than New York Puerto Rican feminist (Latina-American) political behavior. Whites are throwing away American values by supporting the likes of the embarassing former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales imposing their values on the nation.

  • This woman seems completely ignorant when she talks about how many whites were on the Court since the beginning given the fact that for many, many years white males were the only people available to be considered. Women couldn’t vote and were not lawyers, so of course, none were considered for any court much less the High Court. The same was true for blacks or “Hispanics”. Whites made up most of the nation so it is not unusual that they made up most of the pool of candidates.

What we have here is bigotry and racism, the only difference is the target: white males (and females, of course). This woman thinks that because someone is from another racial or ethnic group, that makes them “better” than a white candidate or rather, that their race somehow makes the Court “better”. What criteria is she using? I’m sorry that Buchanan didn’t point out that some 75% of Sotomayor’s decisions have been overturned by higher courts. We have been protected from her lack of judicial talent by that fact, but what’s going to protect us when she’s on the highest court in the land? Nothing.

  • Go Pat! This woman is typical of socialists and fascists in the United States. She has no interest in liberty, freedom or justice. I watched this only because of your being on the program. Maddow is a waste of time to watch.
