Formerly the capital of Nigeria, Lagos’s uncontrolled population growth has made one of the world’s largest cities one of the world’s largest slums.

Illegal Immigration Bill Will Include E-Verify

Nebraska State Sen. Brad Ashford already vowed to put forth a bill targeting illegal immigration during a recent hearing. On Tuesday, he began to flesh out what that plan will look like.

Ashford’s proposal will require any state contractor or subcontractor to use E-Verify, a federally-funded employment verification program, to weed out potential undocumented workers. E-Verify, operated through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, matches names against the Social Security Database. It is believed to be at least 90 percent effective, although one study has it at 99.4% accurate.

Last week, Gov. Dave Heineman declined to consider issuing an executive order to mandate use of E-Verify, preferring that Ashford, chairman of the Judiciary Committee, put forth his proposal and hash it out in the Legislature.

“Let them send me a bill I can sign into law,” Heineman said at his most recent press conference.

Speakers call for action against population growth

MPA Ali Asghar Munda believes that, like China, there should be legislation to penalise people having more that 2 to 3 children and the people who breached this law should face life imprisonment. This, he believed, can solve the population problem on an emergency basis.

MIR Khalil-ur-Rehman Memorial Society (MKRMS) in collaboration with the Punjab Welfare Department and United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA) organised a seminar ‘Role of Parliamentarians and Public Representatives in Development of Population Welfare’ at a local hotel on Monday.

Punjab Population Welfare Secretary Rao Manzar Hayat, Punjab Population Welfare Deputy Secretary General Insha Tahir, MPAs Dr Saeed-un-Nabi, Ali Asghar Munda, Sakina Shaheen, Rana Tanvir Nasir Advocate, Faiza Malik, Nasim Khawaja, Uzma Bukhari, Nazir Anjum, Dr Ashraf Chohan, Haji Allah Rakha, Malik Iqbal, Shamsa Gohar and Anjum Safdar and Gujrat University Vice Chancellor Dr Nizam Ahmad and Dr Hafeez were among the prominent speakers.

They said that population growth rate in the developing countries was three to seven percent whereas it was 0.5 percent in Japan, 0.3 pc in Germany, 0.1 pc in England and 1 percent in the US.

BLACKWELL: Obama justice

Mr. Obama has promised to nominate activist judges to our nation's courts, and he has a Democrat-controlled Senate that will likely confirm anyone he nominates.

The 2010 midterm elections and the resulting battles over redistricting will shape the future of both political parties. A case challenging the constitutionality of the Voting Rights Act (VRA) is being offered to the Supreme Court, highlighting these political stakes. And President-elect Barack Obama’s Justice Department is about to take center stage in this fight.

The Constitution requires legislative districts be redrawn after each decennial national census. The 2010 midterm elections will determine the makeup of all 50 state legislatures. With few exceptions, these legislatures will then draw new lines of all congressional districts, as well as many state legislative districts, for the 2012 election and beyond.

A major factor in this redistricting is the Voting Rights Act.

Blacks Have Been Conned About Kwanzaa!

Maybe Blacks [...] should be more careful in choosing their holidays and their heroes.

Let me state the obvious: If Blacks (or anyone else) want to celebrate Kwanzaa that is their right; however, it is my right to set the record straight. Kwanzaa is not a religious holiday, nor is it a traditional “African thing.” Moreover, it is grounded in violence, corruption, and deceit. Furthermore, it has an admitted humanist foundation, so professing Christians should not go near the thing. Neither should black Americans!

Yes, I know the U.S. Postal service issued a stamp honoring Kwanzaa but that only proves how shallow and stupid the Postal Service is. And yes, the New York Times and other major journals have positively pitched Kwanzaa. (See previous sentence.) Those people are wearing the “merit badge” of political correctness. In fact, they flaunt it.

It was December 26, 1966 that Ron Karenga and his family and friends lit a candle at the kick-off of Kwanzaa, a new holiday to remember their African roots. However, Karenga admitted to the Washington Post that Kwanzaa was not African and they hated whites. Karenga wrote what I call, the mission statement for Kwanzaa fanatics: “The sevenfold path of blackness is think black, talk black, act black, create black, buy black, vote black, and live black.” That is black separatism and racism to the core. Let me suggest it should be “Think American, talk American, act American, create American, buy American, vote American and live American.”

While some of the “seven principles” (unity, self determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith) of Kwanzaa seem commendable, they must be read within the total socialist, Marxist, and anti-white context in which they were developed by a very unstable guy.

General Patton was assassinated for threating to expose allied war leaders claims new book

At least five documents relating to the car accident have been removed from US archives. The driver of the truck was whisked away to London before he could be questioned and no autopsy was performed on Patton’s body

The death of General Patton in December 1945, is one of the enduring mysteries of the war era. Although he had suffered serious injuries in a car crash in Manheim, he was thought to be recovering and was on the verge of flying home.

His book, “Target Patton”, contains interviews with Mr Bazata, who died in 1999, and extracts from his diaries, detailing how he staged the car crash by getting a troop truck to plough into Patton’s Cadillac and then shot the general with a low-velocity projectile, which broke his neck while his fellow passengers escaped without a scratch.

Mr Bazata also suggested that when Patton began to recover from his injuries, US officials turned a blind eye as agents of the NKVD, the forerunner of the KGB, poisoned the general. Mr Wilcox told The Sunday Telegraph that when he spoke to Mr Bazata: “He was struggling with himself, all these killings he had done. He confessed to me that he had caused the accident, that he was ordered to do so by Wild Bill Donovan.

Dick Clark: Introduction to Libertarianism

Racial demographics in particular are a concern for the Libertarian Party, since the stereotype for Libertarians is young, male, and white

[...]

On the night following Dr. Long’s speech, and the second day of outreach, the real campaign event took place. John Sophocleus spoke to an audience of thirty. As the first official campaign event for which I was responsible, I was proud of the turnout. I had been working on media mailing lists, ideas for the website, and other sundry tasks, but this was the first event where I saw smiling faces that I had persuaded to find out more about John Sophocleus. That evening, I realized that Paul had been right in his methods of attracting people to the event. His methods are simple. First, get the potential listener’s attention with a one-line pick-up. You make eye contact. You approach them casually. You cannot be too aggressive, but you must be firm. You act as though you are selling something, but of course you would never admit it.

The individual will do one of three things. He might try and ignore you, refusing eye contact and brusquely stepping away. He might excuse himself by claiming that he is late for class, all the while shuffling by and looking down. The third and final individual, the listener, will stop, perhaps giving a false start or two away from you, and then concede defeat. He follows you to the table, you hand him a clipboard and pen, and the encounter takes shape. Henceforth, the encounter is run almost automatically by the repetitive performances ingrained in your mind. You have learned to direct him to the first question, so as to ease his confusion. You stand near by, your presence discouraging him from walking away without your approval. He finishes the ten questions, and hesitantly looks around, unsure of what to expect. You quickly herd him over to the chart, glancing at his quiz to determine where to place his sticker. You explain the chart, describing how the political spectrum is usually mischaracterized by the media as being from left to right. You complain that the media generalization is too simplistic. Now you have set the stage for the placement of your listener on the chart. Chances are, he is not a libertarian. Four out of five are authoritarian, conservative, liberal, or centrist.

Invasion From Within

The British judicial system and government now accepts the primarily Muslim practice of polygamy. British welfare laws, for example, allow for husbands to collect state handouts for each wife as long as the marriage ceremonies were performed in polygamy-tolerant countries. The government has effectively assumed the responsibility of appeasing Muslims and condoning—even embracing—Islamic culture!

In Scotland, exceeding the speed limit by more than 30 mph is generally penalized by the loss of one’s license. Except, it would seem, if you are a polygamous Muslim husband dashing between two wives in two different towns.

That exact scenario occurred last year when a Scottish judge allowed a Muslim husband to retain his license after he was booked for driving 64 mph in a 30-mph zone. “He has one wife in Motherwell and another in Glasgow and sleeps with one one night and stays with the other the next on an alternate basis,” argued Mohammed Anwar’s lawyer. “Without his driving license, he would be unable to do this on a regular basis.”

This episode is a measure of the bloodless cultural and legal invasion by the armies of Islam into British society and Britain’s judicial system.

What does a British judge’s acceptance of the Muslim practice of polygamy—even when it leads to the breaking of British law—say about the extent of Islam’s incursion into Britain?

Council disregard objections of 3,000 residents to traveller site as ‘they are racist’

Mrs Clarke, a grandmother of three, said: 'As far as I am aware I objected to the camp for entirely reasonable grounds. And yet I then get this letter from the council. 'They even accused me of incitement to racial hatred. It's ridiculous - like putting me on a par with Abu Hamza.'

When residents were asked to provide feedback on council plans to build traveller camps on their doorstep they dutifully responded.

More than 3,000 homeowners filled in forms outlining their views, many raising concerns over a possible increase in noise, traffic, rubbish and a detrimental effect on property prices.

However, such objections were not appreciated by Mid-Bedfordshire District Council, which partially or fully rejected nearly nine in ten of the replies for including comments ‘of a racist nature’.

Weeks after asking for residents’ views earlier this year, the council posted an article on its website entitled ‘Racist Comments Not Welcome’.

It claimed the council’s ‘duty of community leadership’ meant it had to crack down on the use of racial stereotypes, and revealed that while 400 responses would be considered, 3,100 were in some way racist and would be rejected.
